Board Committees
Committees of The Board
The Board of Trustees has established Committees made up of the members of the Board; through which it carries out its functions. The committees are as follows:
- The Governance Committee: The purpose of the Governance Committee is to advise the Board in all matters of governance, to include legal and governance compliance, nominations, development of Board Members and their reward and issues of social environment and ethics.
- The Investment Committee: The purpose of the Investment Committee is to advise the Board in all matters of investments in line with the Investment Policy Statement (IPS) and risk tolerance of the Fund.
- The Audit and Risk Committee: The purpose of the Audit and Risk Committee is to assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibility on the quality and integrity of the Fund’s accounting, auditing, and reporting practices as well as its enterprise-wide risk management.
- The Human Resource and Remuneration Committee: The purpose of the Human Resource and Remuneration Committee is to provide oversight on behalf of the Board over matters relating to the management of the staff of the Secretariat Office.
- The Benefits Administration Committee: The purpose of the Benefits Administration Committee is to advise the Board in matters relating to the payment and/or distribution of the Fund’s benefits to members and their beneficiaries.
